Maya Project 2
For my Intro to 3D modeling class, We had an assignment to model a face in low polys Well, after a while of work here it is. I used photo reference for the faces. Didn't feel like posting it though... It was of a female model. Her name was Claire.
Yup.. It's okay for my first low poly, and the topology I guess is good for a beginner like me. But honestly, I have a long way to go. And frankly... I could have edited this thing further, but I just couldn't stomach that piece of crap Maya for any longer.
I feel like actually doing meaningful artwork now. Artwork that goes beyond talentless clicking of a mouse.

Nice! This is better than a lot of the kids' work when I was in the class. You did a good job of showing the feminine softness of the face. Baker made us do our own heads based on photos he made us let him take, which we also used to texture them. Is your teacher gonna have you do textures?
ReplyDeletei'm really impressed I would never be able to do anything like this!
ReplyDeleteThank you both of you! ^^
ReplyDelete@Kinarii- Not for this project. For the next one I believe it is a requirement. Thank you for the kind comment though! ^^
@Sumomoizu- <3 ^//^ Thanks~.... it means a lot to me.. And that's not true! You could model if you really put your mind to it!
